Taylor Swift didn't let her massive Eras Tour stop her from watching football.

In the final episode of her six-part Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, Swift, clad in a Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirt, is shown practicing for her final Eras Tour show. All seems to be going going well, until she hilariously can't stop interrupting the rehearsal to scream at the TV, which is showing one of her now-fiancé Travis Kelce's NFL games.

The game in question occurred Dec. 8, 2024, and featured a close match between the Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers; it also coincided with the final night of the record-breaking tour, which ended in Vancouver, That night featured a fan-favorite, emotional mashup in the surprise acoustic song section of the show, which Swift is (supposed to be) rehearsing for backstage in the doc.

In the episode, she's shown strumming on a guitar and singing bits of the show's first surprise acoustic song, "A Place in This World," from her debut album. Swift is all business, until she stops playing to yell, "That's pass interference! Did they get a flag for that?"

Then, while practicing the next part of the mashup — the singer's 1989 bonus track "New Romantics" — she sings "get this first down, please" to the tune of her song, before immediately picking up where she left off with the real lyrics.

When the Chiefs eventually score a touchdown, all bets are off: The "Life of a Showgirl" singer immediately stops playing, jumps up, puts her guitar in the air, and screams. "Touchdown! Yes! Oh s‑‑‑, if this goes my way, the kind of day I'm about to have," she says to someone off camera.

Elsewhere in the episode, fans are treated to a sweet moment between the singer and her father, Scott, who joins her to watch the game backstage.

After a successful play during which Taylor and Scott are shown shouting at the screen, she turns to her father and says, "I need them to keep running away with this." To which he points out that this is her monumental last night of tour, and there they are watching football together. "Did you ever think this was gonna be [happening]?" he asks her.

"I never thought that you and I would talk about sports in my life, ever," she replies, adding, "I mean, it hadn't happened by the time I was 32."

"I just kind of waited," Scott says sweetly, turning to look at his daughter. Later, he tells her, "This is amazing."

"I know," she says, before telling someone that they can leave the TV on because she can "prioritize both things" — presumably meaning the game and practicing her surprise songs.

The episode comes full-circle on the football talk — after emotionally leaving the Eras Tour stage for the final time, her father dutifully informs Taylor that Kelce's team ended up winning the game after all.
