Chiara Ferragni has revealed her next career move after she was cleared of aggravated fraud charges in court last week.
On Wednesday, Jan. 21, the 38-year-old influencer was named the face of GUESSâs Spring/Summer 2026 campaign, posing for a series of sultry shots by photographers Luca and Alessandro Morelli.
âWeâre thrilled to have Chiara Ferragni as the face of our new campaign,â said GUESS Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Paul Marciano in a press release obtained by PEOPLE. âHer energy, authenticity, and unmistakable style perfectly embody the GUESS woman and the spirit of our Spring/Summer 2026 collection, confident looks that are versatile, refined, and unmistakably contemporary.â
Ferragniâs latest move in the fashion world was announced just seven days after her legal victory in a trial over her charitable collaboration to sell branded Pandoro Christmas cakes in 2022. The Milan Prospectorâs Office had requested a sentence of one year and eight months for Ferragni during a pre-trial hearing in November, though a judge ruled in Ferragniâs favor and acquitted her of all charges on Jan. 14.

âI am deeply grateful to Guess for believing in me during such a complex period and for giving me this wonderful opportunity to restart professionally,â Ferragni wrote in a Jan. 21 post on her Instagram Stories after the campaign was announced, seemingly alluding to the trial.
The French internet personality first rose to fame with a fashion blog in 2009, becoming the first fashion blogger to be on the cover of Vogue in 2015.
She came under scrutiny for selling Pandoro Christmas cakes in 2022 as a part of a collaboration with Balocco, an Italian food company, the boxes of which promised that both she and the company âsupport the Regina Margherita hospital in Turin.â
She was sanctioned the next year by the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) for allegedly misleading the public, based on claims that the boxâs messaging â which was also shared to her social media accounts â made it seem that each purchase of a Pandoro Christmas cake would benefit the hospital, when Balocco actually only made one âŹ50,000 donation.

Ferragni first addressed the fraud claims in a video on Instagram, calling the accusations âdisproportionate and unfairâ and a âcommunication error.â She also vowed to donate the âŹ1 million fee she received from Balocco for the collaboration to the hospital.
After her charges were cleared, Ferragni shared another emotional statement to her Instagram last week, admitting that she had made âa mistakeâ â but maintained that she had âcorrected itâ and âapologized.â

âI was at the peak of my image and my career,â she wrote. âThere was neither an economic nor a common-sense reason for me to deceive anyone.â

Continued the creator at the time: âIâm not speaking out of anger. Iâm speaking with full awareness. With the clarity of someone who knows she faced everything without running away, without hiding, respecting both justice and silence even when it was the hardest thing to do."
