Following the unveiling of the 2026 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings dress collection, an after-hours fashion show brought the magic of the gowns to life

The new dress designs are inspired by Disney princesses Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana
Every bride can channel her inner princess with a whole new enchanted collection of Disney-inspired wedding gowns to choose from.
Earlier this month, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons unveiled its 2026 Disney Fairy Tale Weddings dress collection as part of its ongoing 35th anniversary celebration. The Disney princess-inspired gowns, created in collaboration with Allure Bridals, then came to life in a surprise after-hours fashion show at Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida on Thursday, Feb. 19.
Models stepped out on Main Street U.S.A.'s blue carpeted pavement for the first time in select gowns from the new collection, giving guests a rare opportunity to experience the dresses in person. The bibbidi‑bobbidi‑beauty of the dresses was highlighted by the surrounding buildings' twinkling lights and blue glow of Cinderella's castle in the background.

The stars of the show were two whimsical new additions — a 35th anniversary ruffled light-up gown with more than 500 lights sewn into the design that can change colors and patterns, and even glow in rhythm with music in 35 different settings, and a sleeveless gold metallic jacquard ball gown inspired by Beauty and the Beast’s Belle.
Other dresses in the collection are influenced by Ariel, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Snow White, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Aurora and Tiana. The latter four princess-inspired gowns were featured in the fashion show.

The Jasmine A-line dress exudes the Aladdin leading lady's regal confidence and fearlessness with a bold sweetheart off-the-shoulder neckline, delicate sparkle tulle and intricate beaded lace appliqués. Meanwhile, Rapunzel’s adventurous spirit comes alive through oversized floral appliqués blooming in shades of blue, pink and soft gold atop layers of dreamy blue tulle, mimicking the movement of lanterns drifting through the night sky in Tangled.
Just as romantic is the shimmering Aurora ball gown, which is all beauty, no sleeping — crafted from floral sparkle tulle and delicate lace appliqués. In a sheath style is the Tiana dress, which glistens with sequins and beading, and has a trail of pearl buttons that cascades down the back to the elegant train. The dress also includes a tulle cape.

As if the exclusive runway presentation wasn't magical enough, the evening concluded with a show-stopping finale as Jordan Fisher and Angie Keilhauer delivered a powerful live performance of “Happily Ever After,” the iconic song from Magic Kingdom’s fireworks spectacular.
One of the guests, actress Shelby Young, raved over the fashion show and surprise performance on Instagram the next day, writing, "ummmm @disneyweddings & @disneyparks did it UPPPPP for us last night!!!!! we had magic kingdom park all to ourselves and as if that’s not amazing enough already, we were treated to an @allurebridals fashion show!!!! and then jordan fisher & angie k came out to sing their song “happy ever after” live at 3:30 in the morning!"
"This week has been an absolute dream and I’ll remember my experience here forever 🤍," she added.

To celebrate 35 years of love, they're unveiling a series of surprise announcements each week in February, which so far has included the launch of the Haunted Mansion wedding venue at Disneyland and the debut of a new Disney Weddings Spotify playlist.
