American Idol contestant Brooks Rosser was surprised after his performance tonight by former competitor Rae Boyd.
Host Ryan Seacrest spoke about the "magical moments" you make on the show.
While Rosser eventually moved forward on the show, Kyndal Inskeep and Lucas Leon were eliminated.
American Idol just made a love connection.
On Monday's episode, the traditional Disney night of the season, host Ryan Seacrest spoke with contestant Brooks Rosser after the latter's performance of Miley Cryus' song "The Climb" from 2009's Hannah Montana: The Movie.
The judges had all approved of his performance — though it wasn't a rave review: Luke Bryan thought the song "got away" from him at times —but Seacrest took a moment after explaining how viewers could vote for him.
"Brooks, one of the great things about this show is the people you meet, the relationships you form, the special, magical moments that happen. Did you connect with anybody? ʼCause I hear you're a real Prince Charming," Seacrest said.
Rosser knew where this was going. "Oh, God," he said.
"Anything you want to share with us?" Seacrest asked.
"I have to say it?" Rosser asked.
But he didn't.
Seacrest said, "Former finalist Rae, one of the biggest fans of Brooks, has come back."

That's when Rae Boyd jogged onstage and hugged Rosser.
Seacrest asked, "Is there something you want to tell us, Rae?"

The in-studio audience went wild.
Boyd was eliminated from the competition on April 13, so she wasn't gone long.
Fortunately for the couple, Rosser survived Monday's episode, along with Braden Rumfelt, Daniel Stallworth, Keyla Richardson, Jordan McCullough, Chris Tungseth, and Hannah Harper. Contestants Kyndal Inskeep and Lucas Leon were sent home.
It wasn't an easy contest, though. Everyone was excellent, as proven by guest judge Jennifer Hudson, who couldn't help but throw multiple shoes. As viewers know, that's a very good thing, which the EGOT winner only does when she's totally knocked out by a performer.
Richardson received this compliment even during her rehearsal of The Lion King song "Circle of Life," which Hudson herself sang as an Idol contestant in 2004.
At the live performance, Hudson was moved, as she sat alongside Bryan and their fellow judges, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood.
"This song, it's a testimony, and you just performed it like your testimony," Hudson said. "And I want to say, I was looking at your baby over there singing this song as his mother was singing it, and it takes me back to the first time I took my son, who's somewhere around here right now, watching 'Circle of Life,' and I was bawling in tears. And to think the full circle of my life, that I'm sitting here watching you sing this song. I hope it does the same for you as it did for me. But you just did that!"
Richardson's adorable young son, who is often caught in the audience shots, regularly cheers on his mom.
The show also announced that next week, the seven remaining contestants will perform tracks from the catalog of Grammy-winning artist Taylor Swift in another themed night.
American Idol airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
